From my understanding, Cybersecurity isn’t just a job but a responsibility filled with heavy dependable workload which required very crucial knowledge. It’s about ensuring your organization is secure and safe from unknown attacks that might harm. I know that its one the highest paid jobs in the world as its not peace of tea to understand and do it - it requires tons of knowledge in you and problem solving. Cybersecurity is very necessary at this modern era time, the cyberattacks are increasing daily due to lack of awareness in the society. Although, common people wouldn’t understand the important, however, its crucial for corporate or organization employees to know basics to avoid such incidents. There are few Roles that I’ll talk about from my knowledge: Security Analysts  They are experts that who protect the organization’s data, systems, networks from various attack such as hacking, malware and data breaches. They keep the organization safe, secure and ensure its up-to-date They identify the threats by searching and experimenting They often test systems to see how secure it is If anything is found suspicious, they inform to the Security / Software Engineer about it They look at security data and charts to review any unknown or suspicious movement They can also suggest fixes They must KEEP ON learning new things in cybersecurity They also respond to security issues if required and attempt to resolve it Security Engineer They are responsible to build, design and develop new or improve security systems They keep testing systems and products to ensure its up to the mark’ They create some tools to protect data, apps, networks, etc They rely on the security teams to know something Main focus is to defend against attackers and avoid data loss Often analysis and review threats to enchace the security systems Incident Responders They are know to respond to attacks or breaches They jump in action when an attack occurs and work on to stop it' They also create response plans and policies, step by step plans and rules Can work (will need to) under pressure They focus on: MTTD – Mean Time to Detect MTTA – Mean Time to Acknowledge MTTR – Mean Time to Recover Digital Forensics Examiner They are responsible to investigate attacks and crimes that occur They act as detectives and uncover hidden things or clues They collect evidence from logs, emails, files to analysis They solve crimes, investigate incidents for Data breaches or rule violations They then document the whole case and report it to the suitable authority Malware Analyst They focus on analysing suspicious programs, and write a report based on what they understood They are also known as “ Reverse Engineer ” - who can understand the readable code which is a low language code They require strong knowledge in that certain programming code that was used They basically learn and understand how it occurred and what were used to make it happen and then work on reporting it Penetration Tester It can be said referred to as pentesting and ethical hacking Their job is test systems and conduct research and softwares within organzation Penetration testers exploit these vulnerabilities to evaluate the risk in each instance As well as Web-application They perform security assessments, audits, and analyse policies Then they make evaulation reports and also include points to how to avoid it They Exploit Vulnerabilities to find weak spots They also Ethical Hack into systems to find any issues, bugs or weakjness They need to be strong in coding Red Teamer They act like real attackers, but a more targeted job / role Penetration testers may work on finding the vulnerabilities within the systems, but Red teamers go hard against the security systems and do anything to break or find issues They do this to ensure that the system is secure and avoid cyber crimes and avoid detections They are undercover and do unwanted attacks until they are caught It requires long term testing which they do in-depth They use advance tools and techniques to breach or break in Task Completion Attachment
